Carole and Linda on their wayThe truck...headed for Tarboro

Carole and Linda depart for Tarboro, sporting MUCH more attractive hats. This 17 foot truck is full to the brim with new toys, plus beds, bedspreads and pillows...thanks to the wonderful generosity of Jack Moyer at the Crescent Hotel and Randy Wolfinbarger at Inn of the Ozarks.

Thank you, Eureka Springs! Your generosity is unprecedented!

Long after the media went home, long after the rescue organizations left, Tarboro is still in the midst of disaster. It means a great deal to these folks that Holiday Cheer is arriving. They are very thankful to the great neighbors in Eureka Springs who haven't forgotten them. The smiles that will be on the faces of over 1000 kids is the best present we could ever receive. Thanks Eureka for making this possible.

You all know the song...."a partridge in a pear tree..." Obviously the webmeister's version is.. "a chicken on top of me..."

So before this gets out of hand and she's typing with a hog on her head, get those donations in at Community First Bank and help us rent the U-haul truck to get her out of town and headed for North Carolina.

We promise we won't let her do anything weird in truckstops along the way....

Thanks Eureka for your support in this Holiday effort.
