Description:
From 18th-century woodcarvings and 17th-century paintings to exquisite ceramics and modern day masterpieces, the Sacred Arts Center contains a stunning collection of religious artistic expression. The New Great Passion Play has acquired an important collection of original Christian-themed works by American artist Harry Antis. “A Man from Nazareth named Jesus” is a series of twelve paintings on the life, death and purpose of Jesus Christ. Hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. (7 p.m. after Labor Day) daily, excluding Wednesdays and Sundays. Admission is free with the purchase of a ticket to The New Great Passion Play or New Holy Land Tour. 800-882-7529. |
