Eureka Springs Into Music

Classical music is coming back to Eureka Springs and NW Arkansas. On Tuesday, March 15, 2016 the Thorncrown Chapel will be the host site for a very special concert featuring Sara Sant’Ambrosio and students from the Arkansas Philharmonic and Youth Orchestra. The Auditorium is the venue for the second and very special evening in Eureka Springs. The Eroica Trio will once again grace our stage along with several professional musicians from the region. They will also feature the winner of the Youth YouTube competition.

Poetluck at The Writers Colony

Poetluck is a potluck dinner and literary salon where everyone is welcome. Poetluck brings together established visiting poets and writers with local poets and writers, aspiring writers, and all those interested in the creative process. Bring a dish or beverage to share, and a receptive, interested mind. The evenings combine conviviality, craft, and critique. Topical content may make this event suitable for ages 14 and above.
Join us on the third thursday of every month to share dinner, listen to the resident writers for 20 minutes, and then share your own work for up to four minutes.

Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge hosts it’s 26th annual Kite Festival celebration March 26, 2016. “Art With an Altitude,” sponsored by KaleidoKites of Eureka Springs, is a free family event inviting attendees to bring their own kites or buy one at the refuge. The celebration includes vendors, contests and fun activities for parents and children.
KaleidoKites’ experts will be available to assist children in kite making and flying techniques. Donations to the refuge requested for kite making assistance.
